On September 1, 2021, the new rescaled energy label came into effect to make it clearer for consumers which products are the most efficient on the market. The new value scale (from A to G) is different from the previous one, and for the same energy class, much higher performance is required. The new class A (210 lm/w) requires almost double the efficiency compared to the previous class A++ (120 lm/w) and for this reason, the old class A+++ is compared to the current class D.
